Winna Bernard
"I am a self taught textile artist and passionate gardener. Flower Pounding has beautifully merged these two interests. From the moment I discovered this art form, I was inspired to share it with others through teaching. I love showing others how to transform simple flowers and plants into stunning works of art. Seeing the excitement on a student's face when they pound their first flower is truly rewarding and fuels my passion for this art form."Petal Arts LLC

Garden parties bring creativity to your own garden, perfect for friends and family, garden clubs and bridal showers.
Gather your friends and explore the art of flower pounding and create a one of a kind piece of textile art !
Use flowers and plants from your own garden.
We bring all the supplies to your garden, including supplemental plants and flowers.
Party sizes range between 4-15.
Allow three hours
All ages!
Pricing depends on the class size and the scope of the textile project chosen.
Garden parties are best held outside under an awning or umbrella in case of rain.Start planning your garden party!

Flower pounding workshops-Flower pounding is a technique that extracts and transfers natural dye from live plants and flowers onto fabric or paper.What to expect: plan for 3 hours.
Learn the basic technique of flower pounding.
Learn fabric/paper preparation.
Learn the best plants/flowers to use from a local flower farm, garden centers and from your own garden.Make a fabric tote bag and two greeting cards.
